New Jeep Pick Up Still A Mystery - But Not For Much Longer

The much-discussed Jeep pickup truck is closer to becoming a reality, and Lee Auto Malls in Auburn are excitedly awaiting the release of the latest innovation from Jeep - The 2019 Jeep Gladiator.

Now we have to take a quick step back and advise that not much is known about this mystery vehicle - but we're really excited anyway.  As of the middle of November, the name Gladiator is still debated (the Scrambler is yet another rumored badge), but the excitement is definitely building.  The official unveiling of the Jeep Gladiator will be during the LA Auto show which runs from November 30th through December 9th this year and the Jeep pickup has all of the makings of the next big thing.

We love our Jeeps here in Maine and while this Jeep offering is shrouded in mystery, the fact it is part of the Jeep Wrangler line gives us some pretty solid foundations to work from. The Gladiator is most likely built on the Wrangler JL platform so it should have the same smooth ride and interior room that made the JL platform such a popular hit in 2018.  We're also certain it will we have a few new surprises we haven't even thought of. Sadly, a quick speculative checklist will have to keep us satisfied for now.

Jeep Dependability - Check.  Innovation - Of Course.  Work and Play combo that Jeep Is known for? - Most Assuredly.

As Jeep continues to build a fan-base that is incredibly loyal they are stepping into a market they have not been a part of for many years - the midsize truck market. After such a lengthy hiatus we're confident they took their time to get it right. Here in the Greater Auburn Maine area we are waiting for the official unveiling just like everyone else, and promise to let you know all about this highly anticipated vehicle - just as soon as we do.
